soooooo fucking cute seriously what the fuck!!! WHAT THE FUCKK!!!!!! the perfect coming of age lowkey cringey plotless teen drama it's like some of my favorite fics come to life and it's everything like!!!!! nick and charlie were so cute I was dying the whole time and it's just the slice of life stupid teen drama of my dreams. literally just guys being gay. I can't even put into words how much I loved this because seriously how many stupid het dramas just like this one are there out there but seeing the same tropes for a story about an lgbt couple just hits different. even the side plots were just so good it IS true gays flock together. like elle and tao even??? I don't get why everyone hates him honestly T__T like they’re just kids, everyone here was just reacting to their environment in a very age appropriate manner and the characters felt so real like this would've been my outcast besties. their troubles and everything felt so relatable To Me, especially tao's like that was exactly how I felt in highschool ig that’s why the kind of hopeful vibes in the show are so nice and reassuring. idk what else to say this whole show was just a #win and I can’t wait for the next season wow icb gay media set in HIGHSCHOOL is my weakness

I heard everyone saying it was so good and I wasn't convinced for like the first half hour ngl but then I Got It and wow it really was good. but I think it was good in the sense that it took itself so seriously it was funny and robert pattinson was so good at playing this edgy little emo batman it made even the cringey dialogue good. also chemistry with zoe kravitz was so good lol she really found a way to make it work even with the fact that this batman was the most antisocial and hard to talk to ever LMAO also the fact that he kept fucking flapping his little cape around was so hilarious to me it looked so funny.

like look at that doesn't it look like the most inconvenient thing in the world. so many things that shouldn't have been funny about this thing we're hilarious to me. and I think I've said it before but recently I find rpat so fucking hot so that was a great bonus lmao. I also really love the way catwoman and the riddler kept checking his privilege lmaooo deserved. although I really am sad that they got rid of the fruity riddler costume like that was everything. also all the weird changes they did on the batman origin story lore I guess it's fine but also did they really have to make it that edgy. gave us vulnerable emo boy moment tho so I guess that was good. anyway can we plz get dick grayson for the next movie I'm screaming crying begging I just need to see rpat kicking it with a scrunkly little pantless thirteen year old it would make my life so significantly better

I had to watch this for my sociology class and like … I just hate movies like this why does every movie that's not set in the u.s. still have to be about a white man. especially a shitty white man with a saviour complex seriously makes my blood boil. they redeemed it like the tiniest bit at the end but still. it did fulfill the purpose we were watching it for in the first place though I wish it was more focused on the actual dictatorship and less on the white guy's lame moral crisis. I did like that it showed the absolute joke and the bullshit that goes on behind this type of governments, like the ridiculous excesses and the way a whole country's wellbeing can really be a joke as well as the brutality towards the end. I did like the cinematography tho the filming style was really nice and also james mcavoy is hot so he had that made the insufferable white man at least a little better to look at

another one for my political sociology class…. and I had to watch it at 2x speed because I started it too late…. but even then this movie was appreciateable like … it was fucking brutal. the imagery was so raw it seriously did not hold back. but that made the entire thing more Real so that was what I could really appreciate about it. I don't generally watch a lot of movies about wwII but of the ones I have I really haven't seen any that actually depict jewish people fighting back so that part also added a lot to it imo and it not being set in germany already made it a pretty fresh take so that made it a lot more enticing. and the main actor was fucking crazy in this the progression from the beginning to how he was in the end was insane so the ending scene was like a million times more impactful thanks to that. the only issue I had was with the pacing in the beginning but maybe that was just me trying to get used to the 2x speed T__T

yes heartstopper was that serious to me yes I definitely fell down the rabbit hole I should've anticipated it but I have no regrets like !!! I loved the show so much and the webtoon was just as good T__T I really appreciated all the changes they did for the live action like letting us see more of Charlie's friends (!!!!) but the og material is just as precious and I really loved the later chapters past where the show left off. I think the way alice oseman handled all the talks about mental health in the books were really good and watching these teenagers actually tell their parents the things that have been bothering them and try to seek betterment in their relationships (something I, an almost twenty year old still can't do) was so cathartic to me. it was overall very enjoyable even through the sad parts and the pain. I just love watching these little gays grow and navigate life :') I'm really excited for the next volume AAAH I might even end up reading some of the novels that take place in the same universe because I think that would be fun too. we'll see !!

aside from that I watched literally every single interview with the heartstopper cast that I could find… they're all just so cute T__T like a fun little group of friends and if u know I love anything it's a group of friends just being pals so the interviews are seriously so fun!!! especially when they talk about the process of filming and the times they hung out together they're just a really adorable bunch

FINAL THOUGHTS

uni is seriously taking everything out of me.. I have not reached burnout levels yet but it's still so stressful and TIRING by the time I get home every day I'm about ready to pass out.. I just force myself to do the bare minimum hw and then go to bed T__T I really will try m best to catch up on content this month tho because I do miss my kpop kids.. I've been simply subsisting on twitter clips
